- Online Payment of Correction: 24 – 25 Aug 2023 upto 2300 hours
- Exam Date (Computer Based): October, 2023
Application Fee – SSC Steno 2023
- General/ UR: Rs. 100/-
- Women/ SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-SM: Nil
- Fee to be paid via online payment modes, namely Net Banking, BHIM UPI, or by using MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit card.
Age Limit – SSC Steno 2023
Age Limit for Stenographer Grade ‘C’:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Age to be calculated as on 01 Aug 2023
- candidates born not before 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply.
Age Limit for Stenographer Grade ‘D’:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years
- Age to be calculated as on 01 Aug 2023
- candidates born not before 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply.
SSC Stenographer Syllabus / Exam Pattern 2023

Total Duration of Examination will be: 2 Hours Only
(2 hours and 40 minutes for the candidate eligible for scribe as per rules.)
- Question paper will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi.
- There will be negative marking equal to one-third of the marks allotted to the question for each wrong answer in Computer Based Examination. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
