Defence Research & Development Organization(DRDO) recruitment to the posts of Scientist ‘B’ in level-10 (7th CPC) pay matrix (Rs. 56,100). Pay Details

Scientist ‘B’ in level-10 (7th CPC) pay matrix (Rs. 56,100). Total emoluments at the time of joining will be approximately Rs. 1,00,000 p.m. at the present metro city rate.

Age Limit

Age limit for DRDO:

  1. General/UR/EWS: 35 years
  2. OBC (Non Creamy layer): 38 years
  3. SC/ST: 40 years
  4. Relaxation in upper age limit as per government rules

Age limit for ADA:

  1. General/UR/EWS: 30 years
  2. OBC (Non Creamy layer): 33 years
  3. SC/ST: 35 years
  4. Relaxation in upper age limit as per government rules

Age limit for DST:

  1. General/UR/EWS: 35 years
  2. OBC (Non Creamy layer): 38 years
  3. SC/ST: 40 years
  4. Relaxation in upper age limit as per government rules

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Related Vacancies

  1. General/UR/EWS & OBC: Rs. 100/
  2. SC/ST/PWD & Woman: Nil

Selection Process

  1. The final selection of the candidates will be purely on the basis of discipline wise category wise merit of aggregate of 80% weightage of marks of GATE score and 20% weightage of marks in Personal Interview.
  2. The final selection of PwD(HH), PwD(LD), PwD(AAV/Dw) candidates against the vacancies reserved for them in the applicable disciplines will be purely on the basis of combined merit of aggregate of 80% weightage of GATE score and 20% weightage of marks in Personal Interview.
  3. Only those candidates securing minimum qualifying marks of 70% (for UR category) and 60% (for EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PwD category) in the Personal Interview will be considered for preparation of final merit list. Candidates who do not qualify the interview will not be considered for final selection irrespective of their GATE score.
  4. In addition to the above, any other selection tool/test may be administered, at the sole discretion of RAC

  2. After successful registration, the candidates may login before the closing date of the advertisement to fill the application from online. The candidates are required to upload the requisite certificates, the details of application fee (if not exempted) and lock the application before submission of the same.
